In 2023 Siedler published her book, Tausend Aufbrüche: Die Deutschen und ihre Demokratie seit den 1980er Jahren (A Thousand New Beginnings: The Germans and their Democracy since the Eighties). Currently, she holds the Theodor Heuss professorship at the New School for Social Research in New York.
